Another unforgettable photoshoot from our time in Another unforgettable photoshoot from our time in Lijiang, Yunnan. 🤍 With the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain perfectly framed behind us, every photo felt like a painting. Nestled at Banyan Tree Lijiang, this spot offers one of the most breathtaking views in Lijiang. Waking up to snow-capped peaks and capturing memories against such an iconic backdrop is something we’ll never forget. Some places are beautiful. Others become part of your story. This was definitely the latter. 🏔️✨ About the ethnic costume: Traditional Miao costumes are often called “wearable history books,” recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. They are famous for their vibrant indigo-dyed fabrics, incredibly intricate embroidery, and lavish silver accessories. These heavy silver headpieces and ornaments symbolize prosperity and are designed to protect against evil spirits. For all guest staying @banyantreelijiang is complimentary costume rental and photoshoot. As a designer myself, visiting the Singapore Garde As a designer myself, visiting the Singapore Garden Festival is always more than just admiring beautiful flowers. 🌿✨ It’s a chance to see how plants, space, materials, light, and storytelling come together to create immersive experiences. Featured immersive attractions like an 8-metre floral roller coaster, a floral vortex tunnel, and a 14-metre floral infinity mirror. Every garden offers a different perspective and detail. If you ask me what the best souvenir from our Yunn If you ask me what the best souvenir from our Yunnan trip was, I’d say this Tibetan-style editorial photoshoot. 🤍 Sharing all my favourite solo shots here because I still can’t get over how beautiful they turned out. Many of you have been asking for the photo studio, so here you go: 📍季夏摄影 (Ji Xia Photography) — you can find them on RedNote (Xiaohongshu) and request their WeChat contact. 💰 We paid RMB 1,599 (around S$320) for 2 adults + 1 child, which included costumes and makeup for all of us. We received 182 edited photos, all with beautiful colour grading included. On top of that, you can select 15 photos for complimentary detailed retouching if you’d like additional edits. We also paid a small additional fee to take photos with the animals at the farm. I can’t remember the exact amount, but it was very affordable. If you’re planning a trip to Yunnan, I’d highly recommend setting aside a day for a destination photoshoot. You’ll come home with memories you’ll treasure long after the trip is over. With Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as our backdrop, every frame looked like a painting. Looking back at the photos now, I’d say the early wake-up call and 6 hours of shooting were absolutely worth it. If you’re planning a trip to Lijiang, set aside a day for a destination photoshoot. You’ll come home with more than beautiful photos—you’ll bring back memories you’ll treasure for years. PS: Nobody warned me how heavy the coat was that i almost fainted halfway photoshoot. Since you’re only wearing it halfway over your shoulders most of the time, your arms end up doing a workout for almost 3 hours.
