[Media Tasting] Hard Rock Launches World Burger Tour – The Asian Edition in Singapore

Hard Rock Cafe Singapore celebrates the 25th Anniversary Jubilations with the launch of the Asian edition of the World Burger Tour, featuring Local Legendary™ Burger offerings.

The iconic entertainment house will commemorate the start of burger season with a menu that showcases Local Legendary™ Burgers from around the world — from the New York inspired Big Little Italy Burger served with Angus Beef, accompanied with pepperoni and pizza sauce, to the locally inspired Satay Burger.

Hard Rock gives their chefs around the world the freedom to create a unique Local Legendary Burger that captures the flavors of their city. This year more than 160 local burgers were evaluated by Hard Rock’s culinary team, with fan favorites selected to headline the World Burger Tour menus. All Legendary Hard Rock Burgers feature the highest quality meats, fresh ingredients, savory sauces, and rich, melted cheeses. Every half-pound Angus burger is made with Hard Rock’s proprietary blend of premium Certified Angus Beef.
Throughout the month of June, Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa will feature the following World Burger Tour offerings:
• Big Little Italy Burger – (New York, United States)
• Giardiniera Deli Burger (Chicago, United States)
• Golden Gate Burger (San Francisco, United States)
• Satay Burger (Singapore)
In addition, Hard Rock Singapore has created cocktails that perfectly complement World Burger Tour offerings. Served in Hard Rock’s iconic mason jars, guests can order with the suggested pairing or mix it up with any other burger from the limited-time only menu. New cocktails include:
• All Jacked Up
• Crisp Sipper
• Melonpalooza
• Sweet & Fiery
• Black Cherry Melonade (non-alcoholic)
This limited-time only menu is available at Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa 1 – 30 June 2016.
Burgers

1. Satay Burger (Singapore, Singapore)

[SGD 25]
Sweet and crunchy with Asian peanut sauce, cool cucumber planks, arugula and sriracha mayonnaise on an all-beef patty between a soft toasted bun.

2. Giardiniera Deli Burger (Chicago, IL)

[SGD 30]
Generous amount of sliced roast beef, roasted red pepper, giardiniera pepper, melted provolone cheese. Paired with crispy fries and Sriracha mayonnaise.

3. Big Little Italy Burger (New York, NY)

[SGD 27]
A pizza take on a burger featuring pepperoni, fried mozzarella cheese, sautéed mushrooms and pizza sauce. Served with crispy fries.

4. Golden Gate Burger (San Fransisco, CA)

[SGD 27]
Made of sliced salami, grilled onions, swiss cheese and pickles paired with thousand island dressing and served on sourdough bread, with crispy fries and a special sauce on the side.
From 4 type of burgers, my first favourite will be big Little Italy Burger (New York, NY), the meat was super tender and juicy, i was totally sold on my first bite of the patty. And my second favourite is of course our local favourite Satay Burger (Singapore, Singapore), it served complete with onion and cucumber, literally like having satay. But somehow i found satay sauce too light and wish that the satay flavour stronger so it will give more kick to tastebud. Nevertheless, their homemade sriracha mayo was da bomb! Super yummy to have it with anything, from french fries, burger, etc. Everyone raved about this special sauce, you should try it!

Cocktails

1. Crisp Sipper
[SGD 20]
Refreshing crisp blend of Hendrick’s, Monin Cucumber, tonic, fresh cucumber, raspberry, orange and lime with a touch of rosemary and thyme.

2. All Jacked Up
[SGD 20]
A combo of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Captain Morgan Spiced Rum mixed with pineapple juice and lime juice.

3. Melonpalooza
[SGD 20]
Malibu Rum, Midori Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice

4. Sweet & Fiery
[SGD 20]
ABSOLUT Peppar, Canton Ginger Liqueur, Bols Blue Curacao, Hard Rock Lemonade and ginger beer, topped with a red pepper

5. Black Cherry Melonade (Alcohol Free)
[SGD 13]
A blend of Black Cherry Real (infused syrup), Monin Cucumber, lime and ginger beer that puts a sweet spin on your classic lemonade.

As i am not really a cocktail person, to be safe, i preferred cocktail with fruity flavour, so my favourite will be Crisp Sipper. But lots of people liking Sweet & Fiery too, because the flavour so unique with those spices.

Desserts
1. Mud Pie
2. Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream
