🎟️ Reserved key activities in advance (no last-minute premium prices)
💳 Spread out payments over months instead of one painful lump sum
📅 Planned around shoulder dates to avoid highest surge - we picked end of November to early Dec!

The earlier you plan, the less scary the total feels.
It becomes strategy instead of impulse.

Yes, Scandinavia is expensive.

while the aunties talk, the uncles laugh,

One day, these will be his childhood core memories.
And that makes my heart so full.

The older I get, the more I realise..
it’s not about the outfits, the angbaos, or the feast.
It’s about being together and appreciate in what truly matters.

PS: Also this year we reduced consumption by not overly buy matching outfit for family.
We picked intentional pieces we’ll actually wear again — beyond the festive season. And for myself i thrifted CNY vibe clothing too. As i let go few pieces from my wardrobe, i refreshed it with high-quality material that will last for years! The core sentiment is to start the year with a positive, clean, and refreshed look, which can be achieved through thrifting.
