A little afternoon reset in the middle of the city.

Spent the day at The Wellness Edit by Nature’s Wonders at Oasia Hotel Downtown, where wellness met mindful living. We eased into the afternoon with a relaxing Face Yoga session by @ksisters.sg , followed by a hands-on Matcha Appreciation Workshop by @matchayasg that made me slow down and savour every sip.

The experience didn’t end there—we checked into the Club Room for a rejuvenating staycation, with access to the infinity pool overlooking the city, a cozy Club Lounge serving afternoon refreshments and evening cocktails, and a room thoughtfully designed to help you truly switch off.

Sometimes, the best escape doesn’t require leaving Singapore—just a change of pace.

Wearing a traditional Miao costume felt like stepping into a living piece of history. Often called a “wearable history book,” every detail tells a story—from the indigo-dyed fabrics and intricate hand embroidery to the stunning silver ornaments.

The elaborate silver headpieces aren’t just beautiful; they symbolize prosperity and are believed to protect the wearer from evil spirits. It’s incredible how generations of craftsmanship and cultural heritage can be woven into a single outfit.

Beyond taking photos, this was a chance to appreciate the beauty, artistry, and traditions of the Miao people. A cultural experience I’ll always remember. ✨
