One of the most fun experiences I had at Silks Palace was the Lady Bun Workshop. I got to craft my very own Tang Dynasty-inspired steamed buns, shaping and decorating them to resemble elegant ladies from the past. Using edible stamps, food coloring, and a little creativity, I personalized each bun, turning a traditional recipe into a playful, hands-on activity. It was such a unique way to connect with Chinese culinary history — and, of course, I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos before tasting my little works of art!
