Staycation at Turi Beach Resort at Nongsa-Batam

Been procrastinating this post like forever, LOL! Actually we made this trip at about November 2014, so sorry is a bit outdated, but i try to share as detail as possible our experience there, and enjoy more to visual diary.. 🙂
Here we go, sharing our staycation at Turi Beach Resort at Nongsa-Batam. Maybe you have read my post on Staycation at Montigo Resort, Turi Beach Resort is nearby there too..
So if you come direct from Singapore, you can take a ferry to Nongsa Ferry Terminal or if you happen to go Batam Center or other ferry terminal at Batam, you need to get taxi to reach this Nongsa area.
Upon arrival at Turi Beach, you will be greeted by spacious lobby with woods element and you can spotted this covered walkway with metal structure.
Their lobby for waiting area with wooden bench and feel the deco is very Javanese mixed with Balinese style somehow.

And of course this is the perfect place to do OOTD.. 🙂

And i have no idea why here also have monkey?!?! Luckily, we never bump into any tho.. 🙂

And these huge akar (root) wall deco at the lobby.. Another spot for OOTD. This lobby will send you to the ground level where the most common facilities on this resort located.

The background view with a lot of coconut tree. The landscape on this resort is very tropical.

As usual, my OOTD detail.. Mini MAC Bag from Rebecca Minkoff, Accessories from Amber sceats and Bottega Venetta, Top and Skirt from lovebonito.

Taking panorama view, you can spot one of their pool, facing the beach area.

And coconut trees is everywhere.. Very tropical feeling, typical resort anw.

The jetty, sea, sand and rocks.

This way is leading to our lodge.

Yup, we stayed at this lodge no 137, beachfront.

The bathroom…

And the view from our balcony…
Panorama view of the sea and the jetty…

This is taken during the low tide before the sunset.

Deck leading to the jetty.. The post made from coconut trunk and the hanging lamps made from dried coconut shell..

When we passed by this area in the late afternoon before sunset there were a lot of mosquitos hanging around and biting me (stay pose and smile even tho mosquito biting T.T!)

Such a serene afternoon..

Another perfect place for OOTD.. Pardon me, this staycay will full of my shameless OOTD, LOL!

They have a bar just before going down to jetty area, only open just before sunset time. Well, you can enjoy sunset while sip your drink here. ;P

Yup this is the famous jetty on this resort.

This jetty is OOTD worthy.. Take a lot of photos when you come here..

Behind me is the bar that i was talking about.. You can enjoy the view from there.

Oh-oh-tee-dee.. Never dies! LOL!

You can see thru the coral underwater, the water is pretty clear..
At the end of jetty, some people used to fishing, spotted one guy over there..

Another shameles never ending OOTD, but i don’t care. 🙂

It’s breezy, nice effect for my maxi skirt with slit..
The end of jetty.
Sunset coming..
The sun was so big and red.. Nice one.. 🙂

Coconut trees… Taken when we both laying on the hammock.

US! 🙂

My shameless selfie! LOL!

Jetty view again with the rocks formation along the beach.

On the second floor there is buffet restaurant serving asian fusion and western food. Couldn’t remember the price but if i am not wrong about Rp 300k++/pax

One of the pool at the resort.

Another view of the pool, the concept is like island pool with planter on the center of pool.

Wooden staircase leading to lobby area.

Panorama view from second floor restaurant area.

Overall view.. On the left is buffet restaurant and on the right there is Japanese and ala carte restaurant. We decided to have our dinner at ala carte restaurant since we both not really like eating buffet.

We ordered Indonesian satay.

As well as Indonesian Nasi Campur (Mixed Rice), which comes with chicken, beef, yellow rice, shredded omlette egg and prawn crackers.

View from the third floor..

Staircase leading to main arrival lobby. They placed in some Balinese statue on its side.

Reaching main lobby area, looking for Wi Fi, because only main lobby has it..

Busy checking e-mail even tho we were on holiday.. :'(

Main Arrival Lobby at night. Don’t stay too long if you don’t want mosquite bite you. After finish with our online/browsing/checking e-mail/whatsapp-ing stuff, then went back to our room. Zzzzzzz…

Morning view when we walk over to jetty.. Spotted auntie accidentally photobomb here..

We had our breakfast. The fried bee hoon was so yummy! Others just typical hotel breakfast.

My favourite chicken porridge and yogurt topped with cereal for breakfast. 🙂

Morning view at deck towards the jetty..

Playing around at the beach.. Bare foot feel the sand mixed with sea water on my feet..

OOTD on the huge rocks.. The rocks here remind me of Bintan..

Afterfinish roaming around the beach, we went to the main pool area.

Lounging and pose.. 🙂

And i was ready for the pool photoshot, yay!

Another shameless selfie.. LOL! Enjoy my poolside photoshot.. 🙂 But please don’t judge me, this photos has been selected and i am not intent to share something which is too revealing, as hubby won’t appoved those photos to be online..

View of the main pool, there are two tiers of pool.

And background of the pool are another lodging.

And lounging at the island pool.

Another view of the jetty..

Me with the hammock, another OOTD spot here.. 🙂

Overall we are quite happy with our stay because the hotel feature and facilities. The service not bad but a bit slow. The food is ok, quite standard Indonesian food. The place a bit old but hey it’s ok, it’s part of experience during staycation. 🙂

xoxo,
Yuni 🙂

    Hey!

Inudnerstand they are both abit different, but overall would u recommend montigo or turi?

We are going as 4 people. Two couples.

    1. Hi, it depend on the getaway mood you are looking for and the budget as well. Montigo have modern mood because it’s newer and Turi is older resort. Montigo offers more activities on the resort (you might want to check more detail with the resort), especially when you go with your family. Turi more to layback/ relaxing kind of activities, IMO, however for the current activities package you have to check again with Turi directly.
In term of budget, Montigo is slightly more expensive than Turi if you are only 2 person. But Montigo can be cheaper if you come in a group as the villa can cater for more people staying. Hope this info will help you to consider 🙂
