Broken Self Control.. It’s about how to manage your savings.. :)

Ah.. A bit scary about posting this with those title.. Hoho..

But actually just wanna share how to manage your saving, especially for shopaholic ladies..
I know i am not RICH (yet!), but i do have saving..
I do SHOPPING monthly! Even a lots of shopping!
But still manage to save more than half of my earning.. Hehe proud of me..

I am talking about self control then..
For myself, whose like fashion a lot, whose like branded stuff a lot, who like make up and accessories a lot, who like all the ladies stuff…
It is super tough to save, indeed.. T.T
But…….
I still have control to but things within my budget.. For example, if you cannot buy things u want this month just bcoz u had bought other things, then make it for next month shopping list.. 🙂
But if you really wanted to buy the things u keen for so long, then can’t be help lo.. Haha, very loose self control ah.. Well i did it before also, once in a while..

Aside from my cash saving monthly, i still manage to send some cash to my mom, to buy invest and to pay 3 policies insurance.. Maybe i am so “kiasu” having so many insurance, but it is protection for future, INDEED and some of those including investmet.. So many people regret when they are not buying insurance from young, at least below 30 years old, while you still able to work hard and pay your insurance..

Would like to share my self-control tips from shopping temptation:
1. classic tips: buy what you NEED not what you want.
2. if you see something nice, you feel you want to buy.. please reconsider and thinking again.. don’t impulse buy..
Well, it always happen to me.. Actually this months plan to buy this and that, but when i thing again, then i just forget it, i will not buying then..
3. Set your monthly shopping budget, cannot be exceed than what you have plan.
4. have at least 2 bank accounts (this is very effective for me! :)), one active account is for your earning income and daily use, another account for saving (cannot be “touched”).. When my income coming, i will direct put at least half or even more to saving account. So everytime i always see my balance on my active account it will remain me the limit..
5. you can buy branded stuff from saving every month (cut from your monthly shopping budget of course!), not direct buy from your own saving account. If you keen on something, better not to use/ save your monthly shopping budget, save for buy expensive thing that you want. 🙂
6. NEVER have a credit card..
Why? It’s not becoz i cannot afford it, just becoz it’s too dangerous for me! Haha.. My HOT hands cannot handle credit card lah, so maybe i just deserve for Debit Card.. Now debit card also can use for online shopping.. So what for i need credit card.. Anyway i just don’t get used with paying things beyond my limit.. 🙂
7. Your savings deserve for something BIGGER
Target ANYTHING you want for your future, example HOUSE, CAR, TRAVEL, etc.. Then saving for it… If you have set a target, you will probably die die have to save to achieve those DREAMS..

And the wait was all worth it =’)

Give you a goodnite song then..

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of
Their secret longing

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true

Hahaa.. this post actually encouraging myself for saving more and more also.. For our Future..
Jia you then!!! :”D
